The Umamusume character wheel picks one name from the current official Uma Musume roster. Use it to choose a training target, fan-art subject, discussion topic, bracket entrant, writing prompt, or challenge character when preference keeps pulling you toward the same favorites. All 142 entries start at weight 1, so the wheel does not intentionally promote popular characters over newer or less familiar ones.
How the Umamusume character wheel was verified
The names were extracted from the Uma Musume category on the official Cygames character portal on July 22, 2026. The portal separates Uma Musume from a second category containing trainers, staff, scenario characters, and other people connected with Tracen Academy. This wheel uses only the 142 entries in the main Uma Musume category. It does not mix in Hayakawa Tazuna, trainers, commentators, or support-only people simply to make the wheel larger.
That distinction corrects problems in the competing 128-name wheel. Its list included “Ellerslie Pride,” which search evidence identifies as a community original character rather than an official Cygames profile. It also misspelled Tsurumaru Tsuyoshi and omitted established official names such as Winning Ticket, Yaeno Muteki, Zenno Rob Roy, Verxina, and Vivlos. This version removes the OC, corrects official English spellings, and includes newer profiles visible on the publisher’s current roster.
An official profile does not necessarily mean the character is playable in your version today. The Japanese and global releases have different schedules, announced characters may precede a trainable release, and an account will not own every available trainee. The wheel is therefore a franchise roster picker by default. If the result must control gameplay, delete characters who are not released or available to you before the first spin.
Choose the right pool for your task
For a training challenge, keep only trainees available on your account, spin once, and commit to completing one career attempt with the result. If costumes or alternate cards matter, choose the character here first and select the variant separately; multiple outfits are not duplicated as extra slices, so characters with more versions do not receive higher odds.
For fan art, the full official roster works well because playability is irrelevant. A simple prompt can combine the selected character with a season, activity, outfit theme, or color palette chosen separately. For a group bracket, enable a no-repeat process by removing each accepted character after selection. For a “last character standing” game, start with the exact same pool for everyone and record removals so the result can be reproduced and checked.
Decide how to handle unfamiliar names before spinning. One useful rule is “research, do not reroll”: if the wheel selects someone new to you, read the official profile and use that discovery as the point of the activity. If the task has a strict boundary—global release only, anime appearance only, owned trainees only, or a specific story arc—filter first. Repeatedly rerolling after seeing the result undermines the boundary you thought the random choice would enforce.
Roster limits and maintenance
Uma Musume is an active franchise. New official profiles can make a once-complete list outdated, while spelling and localization can change across regions. The checked date makes the scope auditable instead of promising a permanent “all characters” list. The wheel also does not rank performance, rarity, popularity, historical racehorses, support cards, or costume versions. Those are separate decisions and would require different data.
This is an unofficial fan utility and is not affiliated with Cygames. Use official game notices for release availability and the official portal for profile information. The random result supplies a prompt, not advice about spending currency or building a competitive account.
Use the Umamusume character wheel for one clean decision: which officially listed Uma Musume should be the focus next? Set the version boundary, filter the pool if needed, spin once, and follow the result.
