Choose the right roulette wheel generator
The European setup has 37 equally weighted slices: 0 and the numbers 1 through 36. The
American setup has 38: 0, 00, and 1 through 36. These are different pools, so do not mix
the two versions when you are trying to model a particular game. The default labels are
listed in numerical order to make the wheel easy to audit and edit; the visual order is
not intended to reproduce a physical casino wheel.
How to use the roulette number spinner

Understand the wheel’s configured odds
Every default slice has weight 1, so each pocket in the selected wheel has the same
configured chance. A single-zero wheel therefore has 1 of 37 slices for each number,
while a double-zero wheel has 1 of 38. The green zero pockets are included as distinct
outcomes; they are not silently folded into red, black, odd, or even categories.
You can change weights in the editor, but do that only when the rules of your fictional
game or lesson require intentional bias. A weighted setup is no longer the same as an
equal-pocket roulette model, so explain the change to everyone before spinning. For a
no-repeat draw, elimination mode changes the remaining pool after each result; it is a
sequence tool, not a claim about real roulette probabilities.
Keep the result proportionate
The roulette wheel spinner makes a number selection visible and easy to repeat, but
it cannot predict the next outcome or improve gambling odds. Use it without wagers for
math demonstrations, game design, creative prompts, and harmless group decisions. Do
not use a random result as financial advice or as a reason to chase losses.
For a teaching activity, ask learners to compare the two sample spaces: removing 00
leaves 37 equally weighted outcomes, while adding it creates 38. They can record a run
of spins, compare observed counts with expected counts, and discuss why a short run does
not guarantee an even split. For a tabletop game, write the meaning of each number into
your rules before play. You might map low numbers to one action and high numbers to
another, but keep those categories separate from the underlying roulette pockets.
If you are hosting a group activity, show the selected variant and the editable list
before the first spin. Decide whether a participant may skip a result, whether rerolls
are allowed, and when the wheel resets. Those rules matter more than the animation: the
wheel is a transparent way to apply an agreed random choice, not an authority that can
