Pokemon Version Picker
This Pokemon version picker is for the moment when you know you want to play Pokemon, but still need to choose the exact version. It is useful for paired releases, remake choices, version-exclusive runs, and group decisions where everyone has a different favorite.
The default wheel includes 36 version choices, including Red Version, Blue Version, Yellow Version, Gold Version, Silver Version, Crystal Version, Ruby Version, Sapphire Version, Emerald Version, FireRed Version, LeafGreen Version, Diamond Version, Pearl Version, Platinum Version. It is intentionally focused on versions rather than broad side modes, so the result is easy to apply to a replay or challenge.
When to use this wheel

Avoiding a stale picker
Version choices are personal. Some players care about version exclusives, others care about nostalgia, and others only want what is available on their current device. Treat the default wheel as a starting point, then cut it down to the versions you would actually play.
Version choices to settle before the wheel
A version picker is most useful for decisions that are close enough to cause hesitation: Red or Blue, Ruby or Sapphire, Sword or Shield, Scarlet or Violet. If one version is unavailable, already completed, or missing from your hardware setup, remove it before spinning. The wheel should decide between real options, not pretend every title is equally playable today.
For challenge runs, write down how version exclusives will be handled before you start. You might accept the version's natural limitations, trade only after each badge, or ban trading entirely. For friend groups, each player can spin their own version and then compare exclusive encounters, gyms, story differences, or route planning. This works better than a broad game wheel when the series entry is already chosen and the only open question is which paired release gets the run.
This picker can also settle shared-save or race rules. If two players spin different versions in the same generation, the differences become part of the run instead of a problem to solve later.
