Death = Exercise: Turn Every Respawn Into a Mini Challenge

If you want a lighthearted way to add consequences to your gameplay, Death = Exercise turns each defeat into a quick fitness prompt. You’ll get one randomly chosen rule—then you do that exercise per death.

Default wheel items:

  • 1 sit-up per death
  • 2 sit-ups per death
  • 1 push-up per death
  • .5 squats per death
  • 2 squats per death
  • .5 push-ups per death
  • 1 squat per death
  • .5 sit-ups per death
  • 2 push-ups per death

How to use this wheel (without overthinking it)

  1. Set a clear window: one match, one boss attempt, or a 30–60 minute session.
  2. Use the selected rule for the whole session (or reroll between rounds if your group prefers chaos).
  3. Track deaths however your game counts them—honesty makes it fun.

Make it fair with weights and elimination mode

Want fewer “2 push-ups per death” moments? Adjust weights to make tougher penalties rarer (or more common, if you’re brave).

Prefer variety? Turn on elimination mode so the same rule won’t repeat until the wheel cycles through all items.

Share your challenge setup

After you customize the wheel, just copy the shareable URL to send your exact ruleset to friends—perfect for co-op nights, streams, or friendly rivalry.

Ready to make every death count? Edit the wheel, set your rules, and share the link—then see who survives (and who gets stronger).
