iOS Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for the GoSpinWheel iOS app. Learn how local wheels, history, settings, JSON backups, StoreKit purchases, and optional Pro AI generation are handled.

Last Updated: August 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the GoSpinWheel iOS app.

GoSpinWheel for iOS is a local-first random picker and spin-the-wheel app. The iOS app does not require an account, does not provide account-based cloud sync, does not include advertising, and does not track you across apps or websites. With your explicit permission, it uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous product analytics and crash diagnostics.

1. Optional Anonymous Analytics And Crash Diagnostics

Analytics and crash reporting are off by default. After onboarding, the app asks whether you want to share anonymous usage data and crash diagnostics. Before you decide, up to 100 analytics events may be held only in memory; they are not written to disk or sent over the network. Choosing Not Now clears them.

If you allow collection, Firebase may process:

  • App and device information, a Firebase installation identifier, app language, and free or Pro plan status.
  • Product and app interactions, screen names, session information, purchase events, and coarse location derived by Firebase.
  • Crash logs and related diagnostic or performance information needed to understand and fix failures.

GoSpinWheel never sends wheel text, spin results, AI prompts, raw errors, URLs, user or transaction identifiers, StoreKit proofs, or purchase tokens to Firebase. It does not set a Firebase user ID. It disables IDFA, IDFV collection, ad personalization, ad-network registration, on-device ad conversion, and cross-app tracking. Google Signals and advertising integrations are not enabled. Analytics data retention is configured to 14 months.

You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Data > Share Anonymous Usage Data. Turning it off immediately stops collection, deletes unsent crash reports, and resets the local Firebase Analytics identifier. Firebase acts as a service provider under Google's applicable Firebase and data-processing terms.

2. Local App Data

The app stores your wheel library, spin history, sound setting, vibration setting, Cloud Backup settings, and local Pro fallback state on your device.

This data is used to make the app work on your device. It is not uploaded to GoSpinWheel servers unless you choose a sharing action. If you use Cloud Backup, backup files are stored in your iCloud Drive and handled by Apple under your Apple ID settings.

If you delete the app, iOS may delete the app's local data. If you export a JSON backup, the exported file is controlled by you and by the destination you choose in the iOS share sheet.

3. Public Share Links

If you tap Create Link for a wheel, the app sends the wheel title, options, wheel settings, and related wheel data needed to create a public GoSpinWheel link. Anyone with the link may be able to open, spin, and import a copy of that shared wheel.

Public share links are optional. Do not create a share link for private, sensitive, or harmful content. GoSpinWheel may apply service limits, reject requests, or remove links to protect the service, enforce the Terms of Service, comply with law, or respond to abuse.

Opening someone else's share link may contact GoSpinWheel servers to load the shared wheel before you choose whether to import it into your local library.

4. Pro Purchases And AI Access Verification

GoSpinWheel Pro purchases and subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase using StoreKit.

Apple handles payment processing, purchase authentication, receipts, subscription management, refunds, and restore purchases. GoSpinWheel does not receive or store your full payment card details.

When you use the optional Create with AI Pro feature, the app sends a StoreKit transaction proof to GoSpinWheel only to confirm that an active Pro entitlement permits the request. The proof is used for access verification, not advertising or tracking.

Apple may process purchase-related information under Apple's own privacy policy and App Store terms.

5. Optional Create With AI

Create with AI is a Pro feature. If you choose to generate a wheel setup, the app sends:

  • The prompt you enter, your selected language or locale, and a request identifier.
  • A StoreKit transaction proof used to authorize the request.

GoSpinWheel sends the prompt through Cloudflare Workers AI and Cloudflare AI Gateway so they can generate an editable wheel setup. If the primary Cloudflare model is unavailable or returns an invalid setup, AI Gateway may route the request to the configured fallback model provider. Cloudflare and any fallback model provider act as third-party processors and handle the prompt under their own privacy terms and the service settings configured by GoSpinWheel. AI Gateway may keep operational request logs for reliability and abuse monitoring. Do not enter personal, financial, health, or other sensitive information in an AI prompt.

GoSpinWheel does not write the raw prompt, StoreKit proof, or raw provider error to its AI database. A generated setup may be held in a short-lived response cache for up to 15 minutes to safely handle a duplicate request. Limited operational records that do not include the raw prompt are automatically deleted after up to 30 days.

The generated setup is shown to you in the app and is not saved to your local library unless you choose Use as New Draft, Replace Current Draft, or save the resulting wheel.

6. No Accounts Or GoSpinWheel Cloud Sync

The iOS app does not include account login or GoSpinWheel account-based cloud sync.

Your custom wheels and history stay local to your device unless you choose to use private iCloud backup, export a JSON backup, or create a public share link.

7. External Links

The app may open GoSpinWheel support, privacy, and terms pages in your browser or mail app. Those external services are handled by the destination app or website you choose to open.

8. Children

GoSpinWheel is a general-purpose utility for choices, education, activities, and entertainment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the iOS app.

9. Deleting Your Data

Because the iOS app does not create a GoSpinWheel account, there is no server account to delete. You can stop optional analytics and crash diagnostics from Settings > Data at any time.

To remove local app data, delete the app from your device. You can also delete saved wheels and clear local history inside the app where those controls are available.

For public share link removal requests, contact us with the link or share ID.

AI prompts are not retained by GoSpinWheel's AI database. For requests about third-party AI-provider processing, review the provider's privacy terms or contact us with the approximate time and request details; do not send sensitive prompt text by email.
